Nethack 3.2 Linux Elf Ungzip and untar the package. It will put the nethack files in /usr/games/lib/nethackdir. It will also put a sample .nethackrc file called dot.nethackrc for you to examine. To use it, copy it to your home directory as .nethackrc. If you are running X11 copy the nh10.pdf and ibm.pdf font files from /usr/games/lib/nethackdir to a X11 fonts directory (/usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts/misc) and run "mkfontdir", then restart X windows to load them.
