4. NCS Scanner, Two Keys
20 February 2001
This manual adjustment is not needed if Rescore is used to make
the correction from a scanner file using just one key (the first
scan). A scanner file with a correction key (two keys) must be
adjusted manually. Question 2 was rescanned with both A (01) and
C (04) correct (05). Question 4 was rescanned with both B (02)
an C (04) correct (06).
Pick a right answer, in this case C (04) was most popular for
question 2 and for question 4, for the answer key. Edit A (01)
in question 2 to C (04) and in question 4, B (02) to C (04).

5. Matching Questions
21 February 2001
Matching questions need to be entered manually into the item
analysis index keys for multiple version tests if one combined
analysis is desired. (Any multiple version test not created
by True Test Writer can be combined into one analysis by
creating Item Analysis Indexes manually.)
1. Assign answer option Index (I) values to version A (05678).
2. Then assign answer option Index values to each additional
version that match the locations of the options in
version A. Dallas is (0) in both versions.

51. _B_ Who A. Dallas 0 51. _A_ Who A. Bill 5
