Registration

Why Registring ?

The shareware version of Solo Cards limits you in the number of times you can play each game. All games can be played 5 times, except for Klondike, Freecell, Canfield, and Yulon which have no limit. To enjoy unlimited play you must order the registered copy of the game. You should also consider that shareware authors earn money only through your registration fees. If you enjoy this game, please, buy it; I will be able to enhance it and develop new games that, I hope, you'll appreciate too.

How To Register

Solo Cards costs $20.00 US, or 120.00FF, or 20.00 Euros.

Cheque and cash orders should be sent to :
(please note that you should send an email first to ask for latest address)

Don't forget to include the following informations in your mail :

Your full name
Your address
Your shareware code
Your email address if any

Your shareware code is displayed in the Shareware Reminder dialog. This code has been automatically computed when you installed the game. Your registration key is derived from your shareware code and is unique. Don't forget to give me your shareware code along with your order.

As soon as your order is validated, you'll receive your registration key which when entered in Solo Cards will provide you with an unlimited version of the game. On-line orders are much faster of course and you are encouraged to use this method. Notice also that mail orders will receive a reply faster if they include an email.

To enter your registration key in Solo Cards, first click the Registration button in the Toolbar. This action opens the Shareware Reminder dialog in which you will enter your registration key, making sure to spell it correctly. Then validate by clicking the OK button. If your key is correct, your shareware version is immediately converted to a registered version; no more limits !

About Sharewares

Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try a software before purchasing it. Shareware is a distribution method not a type of software. There should be no difference in quality between a shareware and a retail software, shareware does not mean low quality software. For you, the advantage of shareware software is the fact that they are generally cheaper due to the fact that distribution charges are minimal and that you can test the software before deciding if you want to use it or not. But remember that shareware programmers don't get money except when you purchase the registered version of their softwares. If you enjoy using a shareware software, then you should pay for it.

Copyright laws apply to shareware the same way as to retail software, and the copyright holder retains all rights; see the distribution info for more infos.
