Hello all

I just prototyped a Tri-D Box in Drawing Mylar and 1/4 Inch dowels. I used a 16 inch square
and tape to put it together. On the first try it ripped off about seventeen spins and buryed
itself in the ground. Talk about unstable! It is balanced side to side and fore and aft. The
cells are tight. I put on my only (15foot) tail and that only made it as stable as my fighter
kite.

So the question is what did I miss and if this is normal what kind of tail do others use to
stablize this thing?

I don't want to do it in ripstop until I can get the mylar beast to fly. Any Ideas???

You can never tell which way the wind will blow,
You can always pick a kite that will fly in it.
