I have managed to loose the top spreader to my Micron. Can anyone tell
me the distance between the outside of the two stops? Anyone that has a
Micron should understand what I mean.

Thanks in advance

Hello Bob,

The measurement you're looking for is 7 3/4" or 19.7 cm.

                   |<----------------------------7 34"-------------------------------------->|
                	|		                      		          |
      =====||||||=========////==================\\\\=========|||||====
     |                                           |<----------4 1/4"---------->|		  |
     |							  |
     |<- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  8 3/4" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ->|

In case this drawing gets scrambled on the way in, the measurements are:

Overall length of spar = 8 3/4" (22.2cm)
Distance between outer edge fo outer stops = 7 3/4" (19.7cm)
Distance between inside of inner stops = 4 1/4" (10.6cm)

BTW, you might want to keep an eye on the rear pocket of the center spine. I was
flying in a 18 - 20 mph wind and pulled out of a *fast* spin just a little too soon. When
the nose hit the ground, the spine poked a hole right through the dacron pocket.
Admittedly it was bad move on my part, but it might not be a bad idea to sew an
extra layer of reinforcement there. Things sometimes happen awfully fast with
the Micron .........that's what makes it so damn much fun!!

Hope this helps

Gary

7 3/4" maybe just a little more. the stops are built up in several layers
to 1/4" diameter, and mine are sort of sliding. There is 1/2" of spreader
sticking out beyond the stops on each end..

Funny, I just happen to have my Micron here behind my desk, at work!

Length between the outer stop is 24 3/8 in.

Good luck!
