Err.... no !:) But you could always do the Kiting Community a service
and edge detect/vectorise some of your own photos. I think it would
actually be a useful resource if folk did that and sent them to Hawaii
. I certainly have a bunch of scanned, retouched, B+W graphics, but
I'd rather not spread them around 'cos most of them, come to think of
it, probably count as copyright violations...

Hi rec.kites,
I am the pub/editor of the KapitolFlyer, the newsletter for the Kapitol
Air Korps out of Wash. D.C. I am in search of good kite clipart does
anyone know of any?
All of the clip art disk that I have found has had truly sorry pictures,
everything is real outdated. In fact mostly Victorian stuff.
Thanks,
Tim

We make our own in paint brush in windows. It is hard to find, but there
are a few included in some larger clip art programs, but never what you
want or need. We also have a scanner and they are cheap right now that do
a great black and white clip art. We clean them up in paint brush as
well, most of the time you can color them in there too. But you will
mostly be on your own. I could do a precissionist clip art disk, Jeff
Howard wouldn't mind, hahaha. Maybe we could start a clip art exchange
club (perhaps by women) (<SORRY - i couldnt resist) but the clip art
exchange is an idea. Maybe some ideas on what you would like to see in
clip art would help. Donate a clip art floppy to AKA so they could sell
it and have some dollars coming in. IDEAS?

Hi !

As I do much graphic work at home, there would be no problem for me to
create some clipart. All you have to do is to send me some nice
close-up-photos of the kites you want to have as clipart (.wmf, .wpg,
gif, .cdr, ...... whatever you need) and I will scan and vectorize 'em.
This will not take too much time. The photos wiill be sent back and the
cliparts can be recieved via the net.
Is this what you need?

Rolf
