INSTALLATION
=============
If you have downloaded this program from the Internet or a
BBS the files will be contained in a .ZIP archive file.
The file will be called ORIAxxx.ZIP, where the xxx is the
version number (i.e. 100 for version 1.00). This ZIP file
must first be unzipped, either to a single high-density
disk or to a temporary directory on your hard disk, before
beginning the installation process described below.

The files that comprise Oriana are compressed on the
distribution disk into a single file called "install.exe".
Running this installation program decompresses the files
and places them in the appropriate place on the disk.

To run the installation program follow the following
directions. It is assumed that the disk will be in floppy
disk drive A:. If you have the disk in a different drive
simply substitute the appropriate drive letter.

1. Place the distribution disk in the floppy drive.
2. Do one of the following to start the installation program:
a) Choose the File command in Windows Program
      Manager and click on the Run... option. Type 'a:install'
      in the dialog box that will appear.
b) Using Windows File Manager, list the directory of the A:
      disk drive. Double click on the file 'install.exe'
3. From this point, simply follow the directions on screen.
You will be asked several questions, including:
a) which directory to install the program to - you can
     install the program to any directory on any hard disk on your
     system
b) which Program Manager group should contain the icon
     for  Oriana (if any)

UNINSTALLING
=============

running under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4 you can

Programs" option of the Control Panel, selecting the Oriana
entry and pressing the "Add/Remove" button. Under
Windows 3.1 simply double click the "Uninstall Oriana"
icon in the Program Manager.
