The Fantasy World Builder(tm) is aimed to aid fantasy role-playing
game masters in the design of a campaign QUICKLY.
Requiring a 386 MS-DOS based PC with 585k conventional RAM, and 2meg
of Expanded Memory (EMS), 256 color VGA, and a Microsoft Compatible mouse,
the Fantasy World Builder requires little time to get a finished product.
Using a graphical point-and-click interface with minimal keyboard use, the
program will generate random maps for 2 types of dungeons (natural or cut),
cities, and terrain. Whenever a city or dungeon is created, information
on the new creation is stored on disk. When a world map is generated,
you are given the option to include the previously generated file information
in the generation of the world. This allows the computer to randomly place
the cities and dungeons in the world.

cyberspace-2.2 (--link--) [Apr 22 1997]
Cyberspace Matrix Program for Shadowrun
Cyberspace Program for Shadowrun Version 2.2
Version 2.2 is out with real time decking and login time display!
This version follows the rules of SR 2.01 and VR 1.0! VR 2.0 is
currently not supported, because it is totally different and not that
interesting to play on a computer.
Hoi Decker!
- Enjoy the Matrix in a DOOM (TM) like environment, preserving all SR-rules.
- No more boring Matrix grid descriptions from your GM!
- See the Matrix from inside in 3D, a view you have ever dreamed about.
- See and hear the ICE. However be aware of Trace and Burn or
Tar Pit ICE. See e.g. Scramble as snake and Probe as Sherlock Holmes (over 70 ICE images).
- Use your satellite uplink, cruise through the satellite network of Tessier Ashpool, if you dare.
- Use your Reality filter or a pure cybernetic link, if you are lucky to have one.
- You may even create your own images for the nodes and the ICE display!
- The cartographer shows the map of visited already nodes.
Hoi Gamemaster!
- Stop boring most of your players with long Matrix Run
playtime.
- Let the decker fiddle around with your challenging
Matrix, while you occupy your other players.
- And use the Matrix Construction Set to create challenging networks by
simple point and click, without knowing many of the rules in detail!

FUNCTION: Sector Viewer/Generator
SIZE: 2,854,580 Bytes
OPERATING SYSTEM: IBM (MS-DOS)

COMMENTS: Allows user to randomly generate sectors, displays
the maps in VGA, translates the UWP code to English,
and keeps campaign notes in text files which can be
accessed directly from the map. The maps all mesh
seemlessly. Includes lots of official and non-official
sectors. Even includes some world mapping software.
Note, you must use the "-d" option when unzipping:
>>>>>>>> pkunzip -d gal22.zip <<<<<<<<
Oh, and make sure you're using pkunzip 2.04g to do the unzipping.
If you have trouble getting Galactic, unzipping it, or whatever,
let me know. I'll be happy to postal you a set of floppies.
For those who have been using version 2.1, here some of the new
stuff:
* Charles Collin contributed several alien names files for world
generation
* Dakin Burdick contributed the Magyar Sector
* Michel Boucher contributed the Beyond Sector & Vanguard Reaches
(these two sectors originally developed by Paranoia Press)

adding Spica & Diaspora, also contributing a Classic version of the
Spica Sector (Spica data for both eras created by Leroy Guatney)
* Andrew Vallance contributed his Greater Magellanic Cloud galaxy as
well as the Ley Sector and Glimmerdrift Reaches (these two sectors
were originally developed by Judges Guild)
Here are the software upgrades:
* Nearly all of the UWP stats separated into user-modifiable UWP.DAT
* Added non-world objects to map (see Variant-1:Gythios/Idhra subsector)
* Added insertion/deletion feature on the subsector map (use Ins/Del)
* Added world mapping feature (use F4 from the subsector map)

This is a calculator for GMs for games using random values (dice). It
has controls for the normal d4,d6,d8,d10,d12,d20 and d100, plus
special controls for GURPS, FUDGE, Star Wars, Prime Directive,
Storyteller and ARS Magica. In addition it sports several buttons for
manipulating the dice values generated, so they can be sorted, pick
only so many high (or low) values, or even generate ANY number of
rolls for ANY number of sides. The numbers generated by the dice
buttons can be used in calculations, so computing something like
12+6d6 is easy. Custom programing sequences are also available, so if
a person uses a special roll (like that Star Wars character with a
6d+3 blaster jury-rigged for 3 more dice), it can be programmed onto
it's own button.

characteristics.
Geo runs only on 80286 processors or better; it would be ridiculously slow on

RMSS Character Management program By Gary Renaud .
The program will run under Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and NT 3.5. It
will PROBABLY work under NT 4.0, but it is untested.
The program:
* Generates RMSS characters of levels 1 to 255(!).
* Supports all races in RMSR (plus a few more), and all classes and spells
in all books published to date.
* Selectable between Talents and Flaws in RMSR and a background system like in
RMCI. It does not support Talent Law.
* Adjustable initial stat points (including number of dice).
* Adjustable development point multiplier
* Uses US or SI measurements for height and weight
* Characters saved in standard Access 2.0 files so GM can hack if needed.
* Characters can be printed, saved as ASCII, or formatted into Word 6.0
documents.
* Selectable which skills will print; some can print in boldface
* NPC option allows GM to "cheat" by overspending stat or development points,
and to reroll backgrounds, talents, flaws.
* Option to modify or ignore the silly 5 lists/level rule.
* Advance-and-Keep allows you (after level 5 or so) to rapidly run an NPC up in
levels. This won't work of course if you limit spells lists/level.
* Context-sensitive help (just press F1)
* Generic skills (like 1H Slash) have all the instances (dagger, short
sword, ...) that I could think of included, and you can add your own.
By modifying the main database (using Access 2.0, the appendix in the manual,

World Builder is a shareware program to draw maps of worlds. It uses
continental drift and true meteorological computations to provide
realistic maps including mountain ranges, rain shadows and rivers.
You can use World Builder to invent worlds for roleplaying games or as
background for fiction, or you can use it to learn about earth science
processes. The current version of World Builder is 1.3, released on
June 12, 1998. It is available on Windows-95, Windows-NT, Linux Intel
and Sun Solaris platforms. The WWW site is:

PROGRAM NAME: "Worldmap" [v1.0] {January 1996}
AUTHOR: Jim Vassilakos (jimv@cs.ucr.edu)
FUNCTION: Mapping Worlds, Cities, Castles, Dungeons,
and Starships for RPG settings & scenarios
OPERATING SYSTEM: IBM (MS-DOS)
COMMENTS: Create maps so you can share your worlds/
dungeons/etc with the rest of us on the Net.
Some minor glitches exist when operating under
Windows, so straight DOS is preferred. Program
draws maps pretty slowly except on relatively
high-end machines with decent video ram. Comes
complete with five example maps along with some
attached text including a short adventure.
Note, you must use "-d" option when unzipping:
>>>>>>>> pkunzip -d worldmap.zip <<<<<<<<
UPGRADE: Go to my homepage at http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~jimv/,
go to the programs section, and pick-up a copy of the
update there under the heading "Worldmap Upgrade
(v1.0 to v1.0b)". Notice that the upgrade without the
is no good by itself without the files of v1.0.
