         *** STOP PRESS - STOP PRESS - STOP PRESS- STOP PRESS ***

-- MILANO, Italy, 25 September 1993: -- In reference to the press releases
issued by Mr Ernst Zundel, 206 Carlton St., Toronto, Ontario, Canada,
containing misleading information on the fact that IRRS-Shortwave would
carry his German program "Voice of Freedom" effective Sept. 26, 1993, we are
releasing the following statements:

1. NEXUS-International Broadcasting Association is a strictly non-profit
organization, founded and audited according to the Italian law. Its entire
motivation and purpose of existence is an idealistic dedication to the
rights of Free Speech and Expression in accordance with the United Nations
Charter On Human Rights, and is intended to provide an alternative cultural
forum via radio, whereby individuals and groups may freely practice these
rights, un-hindered by the bureaucracy and prohibitively high costs
otherwise prevailing in European broadcasting;

2. NEXUS-IBA broadcasts via its own transmitters on shortwave via IRRS-
Shortwave to Europe, currently on 7,125 kHz (41 metre), daily at various
times, and on FM in Milano, on 88.85 MHz;

3. NEXUS-IBA has absolutely no political or religious affiliation
whatsoever;

4. The NEXUS-IBA Charter clearly prohibits the broadcasting of any material
that directly of by inference promotes racism or the use of violence against
individuals or groups of individuals;

5. In the case of Mr. Ernst Zundel, the NEXUS-IBA's Executive Committee has
taken the following position:

"Regardless of statements and claims originating from Mr. Zundel, himself,
his programming was NOT scheduled for broadcast via NEXUS- IBA facility on
Sunday September 26, 1993, In fact, it is the practice of NEXUS-IBA to
review all material from new broadcasters before transmission approval is
given. No such review/approval had been given in this case. With particular
reference to the fact that our charter clearly prohibits the broadcasting of
any material that directly of by inference promotes racism or the use of
violence against individuals or groups of individuals, none of Mr. Zundel's
programming will be broadcast over the facilities of NEXUS-IBA, pending
thorough examination of its content and nature";

6. In regard to the information coming in that some German magazine would be
using the misleading information contained in Mr. Zundel's press release to
discredit our association, NEXUS-IBA warns that we will try all possible
effort to prosecute by all legal means those who deliberately try to cause
damage to the good name of NEXUS-International Broadcasting Association, its
members or its activities via IRRS-Shortwave, or those who will fall victim
to the unfortunate contemporary journalistic temptation to create a
sensational story, even though none exists.
