Radio Latics started on 4/10/94 from the Oldham Athletic Football Ground in Greater Manchester using the unusual (for an RSL) frequency of 1386kHz. This was for the evening match against Oxford United. Throughout the afternoon before official programming the transmitter was airing a tape loop announcement. Station telephone number is 0161-626-1386 The next home game is in the afternoon of Saturday 8th October. (Alan Gale) Newcastle United FC are also thought to be ready to go on air with another RSL station. Check out 1413kHz for this one. Station name not yet known but a good guess would be Radio Magpie.
