   Dear Sir,

After reading the HELP file in /win31 I am not sure
who to send this note to.

	   I have uploaded wgreek15.zip to /win31/incoming.
Please replace wgreek11.zip in /win30/fonts as the availability
of this old version is a cause of many problems for us

XDIR is a shareware program with the following properties:
    - Colorcoded listings of the files in the current directory or
in subdirectories. The colors can be changed.
    - One screen-full of system information (hardware, memory, disk)
    - Display three variants of ASCII-tables
    - Allows the user to change system speed, videomode and cursor
    - List files through size- or date-filter (ie. xdir /fet)
    - Optionally shows file attributes and date using litteral month.
    - Is userredefinable in many ways and allows quick access to
      any directory.

   Long description:
This shareware utility can replace the following DOS-utilities:
   - MSDOS's DIR-command
   - Nortons System Information (at least old versions)
   - speedram.com, speed.exe and others that adjustes the DRAM refreshrate

The program includes the following utilities:
   - A colorcoded display of files in current directory or in all sub-
directories. Listing is by default displayed in five columns and
is automatically paused for every screen. The colors used may be
     changed by the user.
   - System information screen showing the following and much more:
	   - Computer type and math copreossessor presence
	   - Videotype and mode
	   - Disk drive types, total size and free space
	   - Mouse information
	   - Base and Extended memory (free/total)
	   - Extended (XMS) and Expanded (EMS) information
(manager and standard version, memory free/totally and more).

    - Display three variants of ASCII-tables:
w/o colorchart, normal and with controlcode names
    - Allows the user to change system speed by modifying the DRAM
refresh rate. Also allows user to change videomode and the
      shape of the cursor.
    - List files through size- or date-filter. Allows the user to list
for example files made today or files larger than 10050 bytes.
    - Optionally shows file attributes and date using litteral month.
This means that a file may be displayed like this
      xdir.exe 77446 12JUN92 12:45 --ra (--ra means readonly&archive)
    - Is userredefinable in many ways including default commandline
switches (i.e. -a) and directory aliases allowing quick access to
any directory. XDIR also automatically change the current working
directory to the one specified on the commandline. It can also
      optionally change the current drive.

Subject: New version of WINSPELL coming via e-mail
Status: OR

   Timo,

Following this, you should receive the latest version of WinSpell.
The version level is 2.01 and it should uudecode to WINSP201.ZIP.
There are 17 parts and I used uuencode (R.M. Version 5.10).

I submit it to you for inclusion in the GARBO archive. Currently,
I believe you have WINSP105.ZIP. Please remove that version
completely and put this one in its place.

Below is a short explanation of WinSpell extracted from the README file:

   ------- Snip Snip --------------------------------------------------------

WinSpell is a Windows based spelling supervisor which can check
   your spelling three different ways:

       1) WinSpell acts in real-time, as you type. While typing,
WinSpell will notify you as soon as you misspell a word.

       2) WinSpell spell checks files such as Windows Write files and
	  ASCII text files.

       3) WinSpell checks the spelling of information copied to the
	  Clipboard.

       4) Looks up specific words with wildcard allowed

These four modes of WinSpell allow you to check your spelling in
virtually any Windows application, including DOS based applications
running in a window (via the clipboard), spreadsheets,
   telecommunication packages, e-mail sessions, etc.

   Timo:

I just emailed you the latest version of my TPL60N15.ZIP fast run-time
library replacement for Turbo-Pascal 6.0 for upload at garbo. This version
has the bugs that were reported for previous versions fixed (Thanks to all
who have contributed with their bug reports!) and some improvements in the
REAL arithmetic (enhancements in speed and accuracy). A test program to test
the set operators has been added to the test suite that is included. Performancedata has been updated and information on the accuracy of the REAL arithewmtic
implementation has been added. Please use this message for announcement in
   comp.lang.pascal. Thanks!
