I'd heard good things about it from the folks at Wind Wizards here in K.C. so I had to try it out. I'll start at the end and work backwards, the final conclusion is I LOVED it! With as little as a .5 win it jumps off of the ground. There was NO wind here in K.C. when I did my test fly yesterday and it flew as though there were a 5 to 8 mph wind. It is precise yet fluid and the tracking was straight as could be. Opinion is of course subjective but in mine (opinion), this will be my new low wind, no wind indoor/outdoor kite. I called Herb to get some specs to toss so here's what I know about the kite itself. The kite I flew, #5, weight comes in at 137.4 gm and as all Synchros' have, it was equiped with one of Herb's extensively researched cross bridles. Overall the Synchro is 86 inches tip to tip by 48 inches tall with cambered leading edges. Herb framed the Synchro with skinny tapered rods, and the sail weight is in the 46 to 50 gm range. Sorry I don't have any sail loading tech. specs. to pass along. The wind range is a strict 0-6 mmph.
