Ive read with interest that there is to be a quadline competition at the
Bristol festival for the first time this year.

Whatare the rules/requirements for quadline competition, are the moves
the same as for dual line competition or are there a set of quadline
moves that are compulsary?

Andym....an interested quadliner

The current Rule Book (3rd ed.) has rules for quad lines, too.
But does not contain any compulsory figures for quads. The new
(1-May-1995) STACK Compulsory Figures has 8 compulsories for
quads. However, I don't know if Bristol will use any of them.
Avril Baker should have the new STACK figures.

I will add the quad line compulsories to www.kfs.org/kites/stack.html
in a few days.

In Europe already we are flying quad-line precision and ballet at
some competitions. This started with the EuropaCup in St. Moritz
last year. The Rhein-Main Cup, Nord Cup, German Championships and
EuropaCup 1995 had or will have both Ballet and Precision events.
Both events are run like dual-line events. There are a set of
eight(8) special quad-line figures from STACK. Get in contact with
your STACK National Director for additional details.

Andy,

and other quad flyers. http://www.kfs.org/kites/new.html now
has 8 quad compulsory diagrams and descriptions added to the
STACK library.
