Living in southern New Mexico, we get some excellent wind. I want to try my hand at power kiting but do not have a clue of what to do. I have heard of harnesses, and people staking them selves to the ground and getting pulled up and I have heard about people in harnesses getting pulled around fields. If anyone could clarify any of this for me I would appreciate it very much. My reason for this is simple- If you can't support the pull with your own arms- then there is no real reason to fly- Of course you'll get people who say otherwise- but I have yet to get into any real serious problems or accidents. BTW, I have also been pulled around a field (plenty of times)- I never needed a harness. Just my simple opinoin.. Paul = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
