I met a fellow AKA'er (whose name I can't quite >remember - Don Coleman perhaps?) and he let me fly one. I loved it and >would like to get one. In To The Winds and BFK don't show them in >their catalogs (at least the catalogs I have). Any suggestions? Well I bet it was Donny. He really loves that stuff. hmm.. I know that BFK will be carrying them, as is Beckys Kites, Kites Northwest, and I think Gone With the Wind also.... >Actually, while I'm at it, does anybody know the history of these >kites? Is there just one model? What other kites have similar >characteristics? Gee.. A history might be a little long.... That might be better suited for private E-mail.. As far as models... err.... AMI - AM Bad Boy There are indoor versions of both around as well as custom appliqued pieces and very low key Strictly Performance (SP) models (models that have now applique to keep costs down but are constructed the same way) In addition, the Vented Air Master has been discussed on this group before and is ( I think ) considered one of the better, more precise vented kites on the market. If you have any specfic questions or would like a brochure please call your local retailer, or any of the shops mentioned above or you can write me private E-mail. Also, the Air Master manufacturer, Peter Betancourt is online here at Rec.Kites. E-Mail him at AM1BADBOY@AOL.COM Jason Disclaimer: STANDARD DISCLAIMER APPLIES.... I am affliated with Air Master kites and only fly them. Jason = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
