In the past, dedicated hardware, often costing hundreds or thousands of dollars, was necessary to demodulate and decode this transmissions. Today, you can use the processing power of your Macintosh to decode and display these modes, without any additional hardware, other than your Mac and a radio. MultiMode supports the following modes: Morse Code (CW) RTTY (Baudot) ASCII SSTV (Slow Scan TV) SITOR-A SITOR-B / FEC / NAVTEX WEATHER / SATELLITE FAX ACARS (Aircraft Message System) PSK31 Hellschreiber DTMF, EIA, CCIR Tone Modes Audio Spectrum Display to aid in properly tuning in stations Requires a PPC Macintosh Shareware: $89 - Web URL: http://www.blackcatsystems.com Macintosh Software, Shortwave Radio, Spy Number Stations [Archived as /info-mac/comm/multi-mode-32.hqx; 521 K] ------------------------------ Date: 13 Apr 2000 From: Andre Voget Subject: [*] VSE Link Tester 2.0 - Find broken links on your web site VSE Link Tester 2.0 is a link validation tool that fixes broken links and locates missing resources. System Requirements: - System 7.5 or later (no problems with Mac OS 8 or 9) - 4 MB of free RAM The new version now tests links much faster on big web sites. The "Easy Access Read Me" document that I have says: [When the Mouse Keys feature is activated] >> >> - The Keypad "5" key = the mouse button: >> * Press once to click. >> * Press twice to double-click. >> - Use the number keys around the "5" key to move the pointer. >> (The arrows here show direction.) >> - Keypad "0" locks down the mouse button (for dragging, etc.). >> - The "decimal point key" unlocks the mouse button. >> - To turn off the mouse keys feature, press the Clear key once. If, for some reason, the clicking via the Keypad "5" key doesn't work on your machine, then, you can always use the excellent shareware "KeyQuencer", in which you can define various macros (including click, double-click, drag, etc.) and bind any such macro to any key combination. On my machine, the F15 key clicks and the F14 key double-clicks, thanks to KeyQuencer. That's much easier to my wrist, than mouse button clicking.
