It's time for the monthly RRS LOGGING WEEKEND. Let's find out what we do with our radios, besides talk about them! Logging weekends are the last full weekend of every month. This month it's 28-29 AUGUST, local time, GMT, who cares? Let's have fun and share what we've been hearing. You decide when the weekend starts: Friday night local or GMT, Saturday morning, whenever. At the end of the weekend, post your five favorite loggings. If possible, include this information: o UTC Time of logging (available from WWV/WWVH, CHU or other Standard Time stations. See WRTH for info.) o UTC Date o Frequency (kHz or MHz) o Station ID o Location of station logged o Mode (AM, SSB, CW, RTTY, SITOR, etc) o Program or type of transmission o How long you listened. Also, tell us what equipment and antennas you used, and _YOUR LOCATION_! Even if you spend the weekend listening to one broadcaster, tell us what programs, and what interested you about them. Everyone has a specific interest, and being exposed to other facets of shortwave listening is good. New listeners shouldn't be shy about posting, either. This isn't a contest. It's more like a club meeting. This event is certainly NOT JUST FOR US SWLs!!! One of the great attributes of Usenet is global access, so let's make the most of it. Let's see tons of listings from Europe, Asia and Oceania. WE WANT _YOUR_ LOGGINGS! All comments or suggestions are welcome. My email address appears at the end of this posting. Good listening.
