Here is an update on what is coming next on the week-end around May 1,
1994, and the following week on IRRS-Shortwave on 7,125 kHz (41 metre) to
Europe:
____________________________________________________________________

The Hello There program this week will feature a recent experiments run by
several enthusiasts around Europe which brought to the recent discovery and
release to the public domain of the secret algorithm to decode Sky's
videocrypt encoded channels on the Astra satellite. Listen how with a
simple interface which only cost US $ 5 to build, and a free program on the
PC people is now able to decode 13 videocrypt channels on Astra.

Our broadcasts continue to be interfered by Radio Hungary, and Radio
Sofia/Bulgaria also 7,125 since March 27, allegedly beaming to Russia, but
causing severe interference to our long established transmissions on the
same frequency to Europe. As announced on the Hello There this week, we are
running a special test to overcome the interference, as we broadcast in
pure USB Monday through Friday from 16:30-21:00 CET (14:30-19:00 UTC).
Reception reports are -as usual - extremely welcome during these tests. Our
output power in USB during the above period will be shortly quadruplicated
in order to try to overcome the interference in our target area.

(Hello There, NEXUS-IBA's Listener's mailbag, each Sat at 07:15, 09:15,
14:15 and 17:00 CET; on Sundays at 07:00, 09:15, and 15:30 CET; on Mondays
at 07:15, 08:15 and 20:00 CET; and on Fridays at 08:00, 13:30, 17:00 and
20:00 CET).
