The following file lists all UK Student Radio Stations, that are on air or have an active group on 1st July 1993. The information was compiled by contact with the station personnel - its accuracy its not guaranteed. In the event of any query, the station should be contacted direct. The TOTAL field lists the number of registered students at the university on registration day, 1992. The %<21 field lists the percentage of undergrad students under 21. The MW figure lists the total number of rooms that are officially served by the MW loops of the station. The actual number of people that can receive the service may be greatly in excess of this number. The OTHER figure lists the daily total of people who may be able to listen to the service by methods other than over-the-air broadcasting. The RSL column shows if an AM I/L station is likely to be broadcasting on FM via a (25watt stereo) RSL. The Freq column indicates the licensed frequency of the service. The Sustain column shows the latest information on the service that is taken as a sustainer for when the station is off air, for example at night.
