I just bought a MCS (sold at JC Penney) model 3050 AM Stereo / FM Stereo
tuner. (Found it at a pawn shop for $30 and I couldn't pass it up!)

This is the first time I have had any time to play with AM stereo and
I was surprised at the number of stations in my area that ARE in stereo.
This inspired the following list. I imagine I'llw3 also put one together
for routinely heard Stereo signals after dark too, but this will have to
keep you busy for now ....

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
MW AM Stereo stations audable from Central Lower Michigan -- August 1993

I have seen practically NOTHING about AM Stereo for quite some time,
and I figured this may spark some interest! I will be updating this list
as time passes, so any additional information -- or your version based
on reception from your QTH is appreciated.
This is list is far from complete! It represents those stations that
EASILY trip the stereo decoder in my MCS Model 3050 receiver with an
indoor air-core loop. If you have info contrary to this list, please
 contact me at bz649@Cleveland.Freenet.edu.

** -- Marginal quality stereo signal. All others steady, although many
        were fairly noisy, including WJR's!
## -- Promoted AM stereo on air
fn 1 -- WGN doesn't appear as a stereo signal during the daytime, but it does
at night. A problem with my local 730 station blocking the stereo
        pilot, perhaps?
fn 2 -- ID as: "WBYY, Rockford/Grand Rapids, AM Stereo 810"
